General

Since graduating in 1997, Mr. Gayowsky has worked at RTG Systems Corporation in the area of hydro distribution, street/site lighting, signalization, and communication systems design.

In 2000, he received his Professional Engineer status from the Professional Engineers of Ontario, and has been performing duties, on behalf of the company, in a full engineering capacity since.

In 2006, he received his Consulting Engineer status from the Consulting Engineers of Ontario.

Continuing education through courses offered by the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (I.E.S.N.A.) and International Municipal Signal Association, has kept his knowledge up to date with the latest standards and practices in the lighting field. Specializing in outdoor lighting, he designs street lighting, intersection lighting, parking lot lighting, sports field lighting and trailway lighting systems on a regular basis. He is well versed in roadway lighting utilizing LED sources throughout Ontario.

Mr. Gayowsky works with multiple Hydro Electric Companies throughout Ontario, through all stages of development design, including Master Planning, Detailed Distribution Design, as well as specialty approval drawings including Pipeline Crossings, Railway Crossings, and Hydro One Corridor Crossings.

Mr. Gayowsky has worked with multiple Regions (York, Durham, Halton, Peel, Niagara) for illumination along Regional Roadways as well as intersection design, both signalized and un-signalized, throughout Southern Ontario.

Mr. Gayowsky is proficient in AutoCAD, Microstation, AGI32, and is completely functional in all standard office software.

In 2002 Ronald T. Gayowsky Ltd. became RTG Systems Corporation with Stephen being named its President. A position he holds to this day.
